Ashley Shannon - Relay for Life

This year I was privileged to perform for several Relay events. I hope some of you were able to be part of these great weekends. There is so much courage represented by the people who walk, work, and support Relay For Life. Join me in the search for a cure. All of my 2008 performances are dedicated to 8 year old Jacob Bolton who lost his courageous battle against cancer.
2008 Relays
Relay for Life 2007 Tiffany and Brittnay are two new fans from the New Port Richey Relay at Gulf High School. Briana and Kelsie took time during a lap to get a picture with Ashley. Thanks for walking! concentration Had to wear the cool shades for my last Relay of the season-Gulf High in New Port Richey. Hula hoop champ in the making. Moe's provided the Survivor Dinner. Thanks guys! What do you think of my newest dancers? What a sweet daddy! Think she loves her daddy? Rob and Stacy I love my fans. If they send me an e-mail, I'll get their names on the site. This is Karsten,but he told me to call him K-Dog.............. He had me autograph his head------eww. I never did THAT before! It was a beautiful day in the park for the event After the Survivors and caregivers, the rest of the walkers hit the track. It reminds everyone why we do this when they see the Survivors make their lap. Just had to do it!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are always having such a good time. Every event starts with the National Anthem Stacy Green and Ashley getting ready to kick off the UT Relay at the beautiful Plant Park. Singing for the Luminaria at Interbay My niece MacKenzie came with us to Interbay. She is a little doll, but she does remind me why I am not yet ready for kids of my own. I'll just borrow her when I feel a motherly urge! with my buddy Stacy Green Dancing to the country music at Interbay Singing the National Anthem at Interbay. At Interbay, Stacy Green goes over the plans for the Anthem. This is my new friend from the Davis Island Relay- Valda Heimer (I hope I spelled it right). She is from Spain. Sorry little one, the flash wasn't good enough for a clear picture, but if you can send me your name and address, I'll send you a CD. So, actually they were dancing, not walking, but they had fun at Davis Island Relay! We always make sure to bring plenty of beads and light sticks to give away. The stage at Davis Island was small but the attention was great. The Davis Island Relay was breezey, but not too cold and not overly damp. So, basically the weather was perfect.
