On behalf of the American Cancer Society, as well as on my personal behalf, it is my pleasure to endorse Ashley Shannon in any way that I can. As a young lady, she is a beautiful person, both inside and out, with a sweet, caring, and giving heart. As an entertainer, she is consistently reliable and full of class-- never failing to woo any audience set before her. She is truly a songbird, with a voice and song list appealing to any age group. Her energy, spirit, and dedication to her work make it obvious that she has a deep passion for entertaining. In addition to the above, she has also given her time and talents to benefit the mission of the American Cancer Society, through her involvement in multiple Relay For Life events. Relay For Life is a unique overnight celebration of life in honor and in memory of those touched by cancer. The funds it raises help to fight the disease through research, education, advocacy and patient services. It is a family-friendly community event in which everyone can participate, and Ashley has consistently left its participants with goose bumps from her on-site mini-concerts.
