Rattlesnake Festival 2008

The San Antonio Rattlesnake Festival is always held the third weekend in October. It's not just about rattlesnakes tho. There are gopher races (eco-friendly gophers since the live ones are endangered), reptile shows, rescued wild animals like a black bear, bobcat, panther, tiger, and others. And of course there are snakes of all types to see. There is always plenty of great food and  free entertainment in addition to lots of things for the small children to do. This year I was again honored to be asked to sing the National Anthem before the Rattlesnake Run as well as the Festival opening ceremonies.

If you see any photo that you'd like, just send me an e-mail and I'll send them to you that way if you can't snag what you want. And I may also have more photos of the same subject that I didn't put up. If you want your name by your photo, I can accomodate you there too!

Enjoy, and come join us in person next year!
