ASHLEY SHANNON SELECTED 2007 NATIONAL JAYCEE IDOL AT OMAHA CONVENTION! Ashley was named the 2007 National Jaycee Idol in Omaha , Nebraska. Ashley was selected from contestants from across the country. The ten finalists were selected from the state winners and performed during the national convention during the week of September 20-23rd. During the three day conference a total of 3 Florida Jaycee competitors took home 3 awards. The entire state Jaycees are proud of their three competitors who displayed skills they have honed by their participation in the Jaycees organization. In addition to Ashley being named the Jaycee National Idol, Chrystal Ramsay won the Master Speak Up competition, and Arwen Prichett was awarded second place for the Speak Up competition. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As a witness to Ashley's competing at Nationals In Omaha, lets say it was no contest.  The Zephyrhills Jaycees, Junior Chamber of Commerce is a not for profit organization of young adults between the ages of 18 and 41 years old. I plan to become an active member of the Zephyrhills Jaycees and hope you will consider the same.
