On January 29, 2008 I was asked to sing the National Anthem at the Tampa Convention Center. This was the day of the Florida Presidential Primary election and Mitt Romney was in Tampa to address supporters. It was a very exciting and electrifying event. I am honored to have been asked. Mr. Romney is a very well spoken gentleman with an obvious love and respect for our country and its citizens. I was impressed that he obviously supports our military. He had most of his family with him and it was easy to see that they all shared his qualities. What made the day even more exciting was that at the same time, there were approximately 700 new Americans being sworn in and granted their citizenship and some of them made their way to the Romney gathering.
So we have a ton of pictures and wanted to get started posting them. They won't all be up for a day or so and I need to re-order them.
