Saturday , Jan 26, 2008 was the 11th Annual Kumquat Festival in Dade City, Florida.  It started out as a rainy and chilly day. Even as I was walking to the area where I was to sing it was still raining.  But, the show must go on - right? So I started singing and it stopped raining. The sun even came out!  Pretty cool!   The Kumquat Festival always has a great turnout and even in the rain that was true again.  So we have put the pictures up and we will get the names up sometime this week. The photos are not in order either. Thanks to all of you who came out to hear me sing. See you next time!
Kumquat Festival 2008

Two Dade City icons- former County Commissioner
Sylvia Young and Judge Bob Cole were among
those braving the rainy weather to help celebrate the Kumquat!

Judge Cole had both the ladies
laughing without even trying.

All having a good time.

How cool! My very own gecko to
help advertise!

Tabitha Hines and Destiny Absher
were the first to grab some caps.
A little bird told me that Destiny has
a special birthday coming soon. She
is a pretty girl, even with a purple hat.

Ashley having a good time with her buds and the gecko!

What do you think? Am I cool with my
girls - or what?

Judy Lovell and her friend Bob Law
were in Dade City from Maine. Now
that's a long way to go for a sour little fruit!

After the set it was time to autograph
whatever was presented. Always have
a sharpie on hand.

Ashley brought caps and beads to share with
the crowd. New fans and old like beads.

With best friends Jessica and Monica.
Good friends are the ones who come
out in the rain on a Saturday afternoon.

Joy Hampton from Congresswoman's
Ginny Brown-Waite's office was at
the official booth.

FJ Collura is a Dade City native.
He and my mom have know each
other almost twice as long as
I have even been alive!

James and Mary Jagiello are in
Dade City from Lancaster, NY

Nicole Suggs of Dade City didn't have
very far to travel. There were lots of
things there for kids of all ages.

Jessica, Monica  and Curtis keeping the wall warm.
